Meet the Team

Tom Inger

Tom Inger is the owner of Dive Looe and has been diving since 1995, with experience across the UK and around the world.

But what really sets Tom apart is not just his time in the water. It is his 25+ years as a professional teacher in both secondary and special educational needs education.

That experience shapes every session he runs. Tom specialises in helping people feel calm, supported and confident in the water, particularly those who may feel nervous or unsure. He understands how to break things down clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and give people the time they need to succeed.

After decades of diving and teaching, Tom opened Dive Looe in 2025 to offer something different: a more relaxed, patient and genuinely supportive way to learn.

The result is a diving experience that feels safe, unhurried and accessible, whether it is your first time in the water or your next step as a diver.

Rhys Walsh

Rhys Walsh is an SSI Master Instructor and highly experienced diver with a background spanning recreational diving, deep technical diving, rebreathers, wrecks, caves, mines, tropical environments and, of course, the waters of Cornwall.

He is also a Classified Diver instructor, supporting divers with additional needs and helping make diving more accessible to a wider range of people.

Alongside his instructional work, Rhys is the skipper of Danny Boy, Dive Looe’s RHIB, bringing strong local knowledge and practical seamanship to every dive operation.

At Dive Looe, Rhys leads Dive Professional training, where he is known for his high standards, clear instruction and focus on developing confident, capable divers ready for real-world conditions.

Mo Inger

Mo runs the shop and shore for Dive Looe. She will make sure that you have everything you need pre and post dive, keeping everyone organised and on time so that everyone can enjoy their experience. Mo loves the calmness and serenity of the sea whether she is diving in Cornwall, Croatia or Cape Verde, she cannot wait for you to enjoy the rich diversity of life beneath the waves right here in Looe.

Fin has been diving since he was 11 and is obsessed with the sea. He has dived primarily in the UK and is well used to our cooler and changeable conditions. He has also dived in Egypt and did his first try dive in Malta.

In September, he leaves Looe to go to the University of Bangor to study Marine Biology.

Bryn Hill

Bryn is a Snorkel Instructor and Dive Master trainee.

Bryn began his diving career with Rhys at Dive Newquay as a SCUBA Ranger at the age of 12. Since then, he has completed many many dives, earning lots of specialties and gaining valuable in-water experience.
